Kohima: Advisor for Land Resources G. Ikuto Zhimomi opened four development projects across 34 A/C Aghunato between October 20 and 22. These projects fall under the LADP-ICONIC scheme. Work started with the Akuba Old Village Council Hall on October 20. Crews then opened the Phulesheto Agri Link Road on October 21. The tour wrapped up on October 22 with the inauguration of both the Khewoto and Khetoi village council halls.

Officials want these buildings to host community meetings and administrative tasks. The new road aims to help farmers move their crops more easily. Local leaders and residents praised the progress. They noted that the work brought renewed hope to the area. According to a statement from the advisor's media cell, the inauguration of the projects marked a significant step towards addressing the long-standing developmental needs of the villages concerned.

Government brass joined the events. Attendees included the Additional Deputy Commissioner, the Extra Assistant Commissioner, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, and the Sub-Divisional Officer for the PWD. Beyond the ribbons, Ikuto checked on sick and elderly residents across the constituency. He intends to maintain close contact with his constituents.
