Agartala: Pradyot Kishore Debbarma refused a seat on the newly formed Central Working Committee of Tipra Motha. The party founder stepped aside despite pressure from senior leadership to join the top organizational body. He remains committed to the party's growth.
An official notice released on November 3 confirms the committee includes eight members: B.K. Hrangkhawl, Jagadish Debbarma, Brishaketu Debbarma, Ranjit Debbarma, Purna Chandra Jamatia, Ratish Tripura, Paul Dangshu, and Keneram Reang. The group aims to bolster the party's influence across Tripura.
Invitee status will go to the Youth TIPRA Federation president, the TIPRA Women Federation president, and the Chief Executive Member of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council. These positions grant automatic access to committee meetings. The notice clarified that "Pradyot, who was invited to join the committee, politely declined the offer." Even without a formal role, he promised to keep guiding the party and fighting for the people of Tripura.
