Aizawl: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Mizoram is recruiting for five non-teaching vacancies for 2026. The school needs one Technical Assistant in Computer Science, one Stenographer, one Technician, and two Office Attendants.
Technical Assistant applicants must hold a first-class degree in B.E, B.Tech, or MCA, or a science degree. The Stenographer role requires a 10+2 certificate and 80 words per minute shorthand speed. Technician candidates need a science-based 10+2 diploma, a relevant ITI certificate, or a three-year civil engineering diploma. Office Attendant applicants only need a 10+2 board certificate.
Fees are set at 1,000 rupees for General and OBC applicants. SC and ST applicants pay 500 rupees. Women and PWD candidates do not pay fees. Payments must go to the NIT Mizoram MISC account at Canara Bank, Aizawl, using account number 110258602373 and IFSC code CNRB0003489. Applications without a payment receipt will be tossed out.
Send your completed form and documents as a PDF or Word file to the Registrar In-Charge at [email protected]. The institute stated: "Application Form without Payment Receipt will summarily be rejected." The deadline is November 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM sharp.
