Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh gave job offer forms to 93 people under the Die-in-Harness Scheme. The event took place at the Main Conference Hall of the New Civil Secretariat in Mantripukhri. This program helps family members of government workers who die on the job.
Officials including Secretary-cum-Commissioner of Science and Technology Thaithuilung Pamei and Land Resources Department Secretary Thokchom Kiran Kumar attended the event. Various deputy commissioners and state staff also showed up. Digital systems allowed the state to send documents to eligible candidates across different districts.
The government designed the scheme to support families following a loss. Singh expects the new hires to work hard for the people. He stated, "The selected candidates would carry out their responsibilities with diligence and dedication and work in the interest of the public."
