The list includes 10 government facilities and two private clinics. Oversight is tightening.
Officials kept the names of the specific hospitals secret. They also withheld details regarding the nature of the violations or the specific penalties currently underway. The Society insists they are taking steps to protect patients and maintain service quality. They aim to protect the integrity of state health programs.
The agency released a statement regarding their internal response. "Appropriate action was being taken in accordance with established policies and procedures to safeguard the interests of beneficiaries and ensure that the schemes continue to provide quality and accessible healthcare services to the people of Nagaland," the Society stated. They claim a firm commitment to transparency, but have yet to reveal who will be held responsible for the lapses.
