Kohima: Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee leaders marched through New Delhi on Sunday to protest alleged electoral rigging. Led by Lok Sabha MP and party president S. Supongmeren Jamir, the delegation joined the Vote Chor Maha Rally at Ramlila Maidan. They marched from Connaught Place alongside Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.

The Nagaland team included AICC national coordinators Rajesh Kumar Sethi Jain and Er. T. Thomas Konyak. Also present were Imli Jamir, Youth Congress president Herole Y. Sangtam, and NPCC minority department chairman Javed Sarwar. They rallied with INDIA Alliance members to demand better transparency from electoral institutions.

The party claims this move shows the Northeast will stand up for its rights. The NPCC stated its participation reflected the "Northeast’s commitment to protecting the Constitution, democracy, electoral transparency and every citizen’s right to vote."
