Angami Youth Organisation Bans Members From Naga Youth Movement Protest

Kohima: The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) dropped a directive on October 27 forbidding community members from joining a sit-in at Lok Bhavan in Kohima. The protest, slated for October 28, is organized by the Naga Youth Movement, also known as Fed Up Nagas. Participation is strictly off-limits.

AYO leadership did not mince words. They labeled the group a "self-styled organisation" and dismissed the planned demonstration as an obscure activity. The organization expects full compliance with this order.

Range officials received orders to stay sharp. They must monitor the ground closely during the protest hours. The group wants to ensure they are ready if any trouble breaks out near the Lok Bhavan site.
