Kohima and Pfutsero Colleges Ink Academic Partnership

Kohima: Kohima College and Pfutsero Government College signed a memorandum of understanding on October 26 to boost research and academic ties. The partnership targets student exchanges, faculty growth, and joint projects. It aims to build knowledge and support for both schools.

A Pfutsero delegation visited the campus to finalize the deal. Principal Dr. Anungla Pongener and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Thungdemo N. Yanthan led the visiting team. They praised the choice of partner. Dr. Pongener stated, "Kohima College as the right choice of partner for the initiative."

Kohima College Principal Dr. Vitsosie Vupru believes this link creates new paths for cooperation. He expects the move to pay off for staff and students alike. The institutions plan to swap best practices and share professional experience to harden their academic standards.

Dr. Ketoukhrie, the IQAC Coordinator for Kohima College, pointed to the departmental Five-Year Plans at Pfutsero as a gold standard for institutional planning. The colleges will now use this framework to strengthen their overall academic environment.
