Kohima: Kohima College hosted a panel discussion on business strategies last Friday. The Skill Development Committee brought together four local creators to mentor students on entrepreneurship. Attendees heard from ILANDO.COM co-founder Imtisunep Longchar, Premium Naga Organic co-founder Thejasevi Putsure, Naga Bowl Bakery co-founder Loni Khing, and podcast host Jonathan Tseibu Rutsa. Sociology student Deuyihangle and political science student Mhalezolie Kuotsu moderated the event.
Dr. Konei Nakhro opened the session before Principal Vitsosie Vupru urged students to pursue success that benefits society. He pointed toward the Viksit Bharat initiative as a guide for their future. One speaker noted that his path in agriculture was "not easy, but interesting" as he returned to his roots during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Success requires specific habits. The panel cited humility, discipline, and constant learning as core traits for any business owner. They pushed students to hire local youth and find creative value where others see nothing. Clear life goals and social media marketing skills also dominated the conversation. Mentors pushed the crowd to treat networking as a major asset while exploring agriculture as a primary venture in Nagaland.
