Kohima: The Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee held its fourth meeting on September 8, 2026. The session took place at the PRO Defence Office in Kohima. Ella Kayina, the Head of Programme at Akashvani Kohima, chaired the gathering.
Representatives from several organizations delivered reports on their recent outreach work. Attendees included staff from PRO Defence Kohima, Akashvani Kohima, Doordarshan Kendra Kohima, the Central Bureau of Communication, the Press Information Bureau, the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, and the Census Office in Kohima. Each agency detailed their activities from the previous month.
Lt. Col. Amit Shukla hosted the event. As the Defence PRO and spokesperson for Manipur, Nagaland, and Southern Arunachal Pradesh, he walked the members through the operations of the Ministry of Defence. He used a PowerPoint presentation to highlight specific work. Shukla stated, "The committee decided to hold its next meeting at the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Kohima."
