Assam Artists and Akhil Gogoi Rally for Zubeen Garg Justice

Guwahati: Artists Rahul Gautam Sarma and Ritrisha Sarma joined Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi at Zubeen Kshetra in Sonapur. They gathered to demand accountability for the death of music icon Zubeen Garg. The crowd wants the truth. The Zubeen Garg Justice Demand Committee organized the meeting to bridge political divides. They invited Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi, the All Assam Students' Union, and Garima Saikia Garg to participate.

Garima Saikia Garg skipped the event due to legal difficulties. She still supports the cause. Rahul Gautam Sarma noted that Garima Garg and Palmee Borthakur started this initiative, using social media to alert the public. The group wants a united front. They plan to keep political agendas out of the fight.

Akhil Gogoi proposed four resolutions to formalize the movement. He wants a committee free of political ties. He suggested that Garima Saikia Garg lead the effort. He also recommended that Rahul Gautam Sarma act as a mediator between the family and supporters. Ritrisha Sarma called for total unity. She said, "This protest was entirely non-political and called on people to unite for the cause." The attendees pledged to stick together until the legal process reveals the truth about that day.
