Guwahati: Morphed photos of a woman appeared on posters across public markets in Juria, Nagaon. The images triggered massive local outrage. The victim contacted Juria Police to demand justice. She claims her photos and videos were edited and shared online without consent. Police filed an FIR against Nabi Hussain. Hussain lives in Shingari village. He stands accused of altering the digital files and posting them to his personal Facebook account.
Strange posters surfaced alongside the social media posts. These posters offer a 50,000 rupee reward for anyone with information on the woman's whereabouts. Locals believe Hussain orchestrated the entire scheme. The victim's complaint alleges a clear conspiracy to ruin her reputation. Local residents are demanding arrests. "Juria Police have launched an investigation into the complaint and are examining the posters as well as the photographs and videos allegedly circulated on social media," officials stated.
Officers are currently tracking the source of the flyers. They are working to identify who physically placed the posters in public view. Investigators are also digging into the circulation of the content on social media. No one else has been charged yet. The case remains active as authorities collect evidence.
