Kohima: The Lions Club of Dimapur Elite mobilized and dispatched a large shipment of relief goods to help flood victims in Mon. Members and supporters pooled resources to gather these supplies. The effort focuses on delivering aid to families who lost their homes and belongings to the rising waters.
The donation package was extensive. It contained cartons of clothes, hygiene and first aid kits, stationery, sanitary pads, biscuits, cooking oil, steel utensils, bottles, containers, mosquito nets, and bed sheets. They also sent supplies like atta, rice, buckets, and school bags. Club officials handed the items over to Jeange, who accepted the shipment on behalf of Mon district.
President Ritika Jain, secretary Sakshi Binaykia, Project Chairperson Vaidika Jain, and Flood Relief chairman P.K. Jain oversaw the dispatch. The club issued a statement regarding the operation. They said the project was "aimed at extending timely assistance to affected families" while reaffirming their dedication to community support and humanitarian service.
