Kohima: The Committee on Government Assurances pushed back its oral evidence meeting with several state departments. Officials from the Transport, Home, and Works and Housing (R&B) departments were expected to appear. They were originally slated to meet on July 22, 2026. The meeting is now off.
Chairperson Y. Lima Onen Chang issued a press release confirming the change. The committee postponed the session until further notice. No new date for the proceedings exists.
