Noklak Officials Order Full Cooperation for 2027 Census

Kohima: Noklak district administration is demanding total compliance from all department heads. They want all offices to back the upcoming 2027 Census. This is the government’s biggest data gathering project.

The House Listing Operation and Housing Census is already rolling. It runs until July 30, 2026. After that, workers will start the Population Enumeration phase in February 2027. Officials claim this work provides the data needed for planning and policy making. They labeled it the "largest statistical exercise undertaken by the government" to date.

District leadership told bosses to order their staff to participate. Every employee must get counted at their usual place of residence. Government workers need to handle this at their posting site. This rule covers offices, homes, and any buildings owned or kept by their specific departments. Everything must align with the official census guidelines.
