Guwahati: Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi labeled the INDIA bloc rally in Delhi a historic event on November 1. He told the crowd that students, farmers, and citizens from every walk of life joined forces to protect national democracy. Gogoi argued the opposition alliance signifies a massive push for unity and claimed the BJP fears this growing public mobilization.
Gogoi spoke directly to the assembly. "This is historic. The entire nation is now united under the INDIA bloc—students, farmers, all of us stand together—and we will safeguard the country's democracy," he said.
Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury also spoke at the event. He called the turnout unprecedented for a political rally in the capital. The Congress leader insisted that this massive participation shows clear public pushback against the ruling government. He predicted the BJP's exit from power is now inevitable.
