Guwahati: Assam Finance Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah met with the Accommodation Committee at Assam House in New Delhi to finalize lodging plans. The session focused on the upcoming November 29 concluding ceremony of the Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika birth centenary celebrations. Officials need to host a large group.

The group includes invited guests, artists, and state officials traveling from Assam for the finale. Mallabaruah confirmed the primary goal is providing quality hospitality. He addressed the situation in a post on X, noting the meeting focused on "ensuring seamless accommodation arrangements and warm hospitality for all guests, with particular emphasis on avoiding any inconvenience during their stay."

The committee is currently assessing all logistics. They want to prevent any hiccups for the visiting dignitaries. Planning is now in full swing.
