Dimapur Announces Three-Day Power Outage

Kohima: Dimapur faces a three-day power blackout. The Department of Power, Nagaland, plans to kill the lights for the Landmark, Khermahal, and Notun Bosti feeders. Expect the dark from 5am to 8am on October 28, 29, and 30.

Crews will work on the 33/11kV 2x10 MVA Forest Substation. This outage allows for urgent structural repairs, system renovations, and routine maintenance. The department stated the shutdown is "necessary to carry out urgent structural work, renovation and maintenance."

They expect to flick the switch back on after the work finishes each morning. Officials asked locals, businesses, and institutions for their patience. They regret the headache this causes.
