Aizawl: The Zoram People's Movement claims corruption is dead in Mizoram. No minister or party MLA has faced corruption charges since the government took power two years ago. The party made the announcement on July 16 during an executive committee meeting.

Party leaders praised the government led by Lalduhoma. They highlighted progress on the Vairengte-Sairang four-lane highway and the move of Assam Rifles from Aizawl to Zokhawsang. The committee noted better healthcare, fewer smuggling cases, and transparent government hiring.

The government pays employees on time. The party reaffirmed its commitment to the Kalphung Thar-Mipui Sawrkar policy, meaning a new system for the people's government. This model focuses on welfare and transparency. Party leaders stated: "The executive committee highlighted several achievements of the government, including progress in the Vairengte-Sairang four-lane highway project, the relocation of Assam Rifles establishments from Aizawl to Zokhawsang, improved healthcare services, stricter enforcement of laws, reduction in smuggling, transparent recruitment in government services, and timely disbursal of salaries to government employees."

Unity drives remain a priority. The Mizo Diaspora Cell handles issues for Zo ethnic communities outside the state. Officials must keep working with honesty. The committee wants to see faster development across the region.
