Producer Denies Aamir Khan Casting Rumors for Race 4

Shillong: Producer Ramesh Taurani denied reports that Aamir Khan signed on for the fourth installment of the Race franchise. Rumors swirled in Mumbai on August 31, but the filmmaker clarified on Monday that casting remains completely open. He warned the public to ignore hearsay.

Taurani took to Instagram to issue a firm statement. He asked social media accounts and news outlets to stop spreading false information about the upcoming movie. The production house wrote, "We would like to clarify that the cast of Race 4 has not yet been finalized."

Speculation has plagued the film for months. Earlier this year, reports claimed actor Akshaye Khanna would return to the series. Taurani flatly denied this, noting that Khanna’s character arc ended years ago. Industry whispers also suggested Sidharth Malhotra and Tiger Shroff heard the script. None of these claims have any official backing.

The franchise started in 2008 with a cast featuring Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, and Anil Kapoor. Success led to two sequels in 2013 and 2018. Producers promise an official announcement once they secure the talent.
