Agartala: Hundreds of unemployed youth swarmed Shiksha Bhavan on Wednesday. They carried flex banners and chanted slogans to demand immediate recruitment for TET-1 and TET-2 qualified candidates. The demonstrators submitted a formal deputation to the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura, known as TRBT.
These protestors cleared the 2024 TET examinations but remain jobless. They are angry. Frustration over the mounting delay defined the rally as participants pushed for a fixed, transparent hiring timeline. Banners at the scene demanded officials publish the recommendation list and stop wasting academic years through administrative stalling.
Aspirants pressed the Education Minister and department heads for direct answers. Many claim the wait has caused severe financial distress despite their proven eligibility. Protesters remain defiant. One aspirant told the media, "The movement will not stop until our rights are restored."
The group seeks three concrete outcomes: the release of the recommendation list, a time-bound hiring schedule, and a guarantee that no more academic years will slip away. They vowed to continue the agitation until the government grants them the positions they earned.
