The town issued a newspaper advertisement recently regarding new LED boards. Public pushback followed quickly. Citizens argue that while LED screens offer information, they do nothing to stop criminals. "The demand is not against the use of LED display screens, residents said, but is about civic priorities and the need to strengthen public security infrastructure."
People want cameras at markets, busy roads, parking lots, and town entry points. They also demand better oversight for existing systems. The current hardware often sits neglected or broken. A functional, well-connected network provides evidence and tracks getaway vehicles after a heist. Local authorities must now decide if visibility or surveillance holds more weight in Pathsala.
