Olympic Boxer Lovlina Borgohain Delivers Flood Relief in Sivasagar

Guwahati: Olympic medallist and Commonwealth Games champion Lovlina Borgohain traveled to Assam’s Sivasagar district on August 7. She arrived to provide essential relief materials to families struggling in the wake of recent floods. The boxer moved through the waterlogged region to meet residents and hear their accounts of the disaster.

She assessed the heavy damage firsthand. Local families received supplies and a personal visit from the athlete. During the trip, Borgohain voiced her sympathy for those who lost homes and property. "It is heartbreaking to witness the situation here. People are mentally shattered after everything they have gone through. I came here to stand by them and offer a few words of encouragement," she said.
