Shillong: Lynchpin partnered with the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan under the Education department to run the School Connect 2026 program for Class 12 students in Shillong. The initiative hit 11 schools across the city. It aims to prepare teenagers for a tough job market. Students need guidance.
Interactive sessions lasted between two and three hours on school grounds. Teens spoke directly with university representatives to weigh academic options in India and overseas. The program provided personalized counseling based on individual aptitude and aspirations to help students move beyond standard career paths.
The effort spanned several local institutions, including St. Mary’s HS School, Brookside Adventist HS School, St. Edmund’s HS School, Seven Sets HS School, and Divine Saviour HS School. All Saints’ Diocesan, Loreto Convent, St. Anthony’s HS School, Government Boys’ HS School, BDW International School, and Synod HS School also hosted the event.
Lynchpin is rolling out this project across Northeast India. The company statement noted that the initiative was created "to help students explore diverse academic pathways and make informed decisions based on their aptitude and aspirations."
