Judges ruled in a 5-0 unanimous decision. This win marks her first appearance in the tournament and guarantees India at least a bronze medal.
She aims for gold now. The result puts her on the podium for the second straight Asian Games after she grabbed silver at the last event. Her performance keeps India’s boxing momentum alive. Parveen Hooda, Ankush Panghal, and Narender Berwal already punched their tickets to the semifinals on Sunday.
