Agartala: Gomati District Magistrate and Collector Rinku Lather cut the ribbon on the new Fresh Vegetable Mart at Dhajanagar Gram Panchayat. The site sits within the Tepania R.D. Block. It aims to grow rural earnings. The Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission is backing the project to connect local producers with sustainable buyers.

The Block Mission Management Unit in Tepania handles implementation. Meanwhile, the Natun Disha Cluster Level Federation will run daily operations. The mart gives women in Self-Help Groups a dedicated spot to sell what they grow. It shortens the path from the farm to the kitchen table.

Officials stated the project provides residents with better access to local food. According to official sources, the mart will "provide residents of the area with access to fresh and quality vegetables produced locally." This move pushes the mission's goal of putting women-led groups at the center of the local economy.
