Shillong: North Eastern Hill University in Meghalaya is hiring one Senior Research Fellow. This position supports a project studying the vegetative propagation and dehydration of Sohiong fruit. The Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, funds this work.

The role pays 42,000 rupees monthly plus House Rent Allowance. Candidates must hold a first class M.Sc, M.Tech, or Ph.D. in fields like Food Technology or Bioprocess Engineering. Applicants also need two years of post-master research experience. The school prefers applicants with specific expertise in Sohiong processing and analytical tools like FTIR or vacuum freeze dryers. They also favor candidates with four Q1 SCI publications.
