Nagaland Teachers Complete AVINYA Certification Workshop

Kohima: More than 70 educators from schools across Nagaland gathered in Dimapur to sharpen their skills. They attended AVINYA: The Northeast Edition, a professional development workshop held at the AIDA, Don Bosco Campus. Birla Open Minds organized the event to push for better classroom standards.

The program featured two specific certification tracks. General Manager of Academics Sheetal Singh led the preschool session. She focused on Brain Rules for Preschoolers and Language Acquisition in Early Years. Her talk emphasized developmentally appropriate practices for young children.

General Manager of Training Priya Gopal managed the K-12 track. She covered Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligences alongside Competency-Based Learning. Teachers learned about learner-centric approaches and new classroom strategies. The goal was to build professional competencies through expert input and interactive discussions.

Organizers confirmed all attendees received official certificates after finishing the sessions. Birla Open Minds stated that the turnout across the region reflects a growing commitment to quality education.
