Kohima: Dangerous potholes are scarring Kohima, endangering drivers and walkers alike. Motorists are swerving to avoid gaping holes at Razhü Point, the SKV petrol pump, Old NST, PR Hill Junction, and Mohonkhola. The damage is extensive. Locals say the city has ignored the crumbling streets for too long.

These craters make daily travel a nightmare. Commuters are now forced to veer into traffic to bypass the worst spots, creating new risks for pedestrians and nearby vehicles. Residents told Nagaland Post that "minor accidents have reportedly occurred in some areas because of the poor road conditions."

The public wants action. Citizens are calling on local officials to fix the affected stretches immediately. They hope the city clears the wreckage before someone gets seriously hurt.
