Nagaland adds emergency helicopter flights to Mon and Longleng

Kohima: Nagaland State Transport is flying extra routes. The agency added new helicopter services to Mon and Longleng to provide emergency relief. These flights will run until crews fix National Highway-702. The schedule takes effect immediately.

Additional General Manager A Limasunep Jamir confirmed the move. "The enhanced schedule has been introduced on the directives of the state government and comes into immediate effect," the circular stated. The state government ordered the change to keep the districts connected.

Helicopters will now fly from Dimapur to Mon every Monday and Wednesday. Flights to Longleng will run every Tuesday and Thursday. This temporary transport plan stays in place until the road reopens.
