Nagaland adds emergency helicopter flights to Mon and Longleng

Kohima: Nagaland State Transport is flying extra routes to Mon and Longleng. The emergency measure keeps isolated districts connected while crews work on National Highway-702. Additional General Manager A Limasunep Jamir confirmed the new schedule follows direct orders from the state government.

Flights take off immediately. The state added a new Dimapur to Longleng connection every Tuesday, which runs alongside the established Thursday service. Residents in Mon gain a new Monday flight to supplement the existing Wednesday rotation. The department maintains these services until the highway is fully restored. As the circular states, this is an "emergency relief measure until the restoration of National Highway-702."
