Naga Hoho Sets July Federal Assembly in Manipur

Kohima: Naga Hoho issued a summons for its third Federal Assembly of the 2024 to 2028 tenure. The meeting kicks off on July 31, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the Senapati District Headquarters, Manipur. This gathering operates under Article 6, Clause 4 of the organization's governing rules.

The United Naga Council is hosting the event. They will manage food and housing for all attendees. The council confirmed their role in a letter dated March 9, 2026. "The United Naga Council (UNC), vide its letter dated March 9, 2026, has requested to host the assembly and will bear necessary logistical arrangements including accommodation and food."

Every federating unit and subordinate body must send their President and Secretary. Each unit may bring up to three extra members or authorized representatives.
