Kohima: Mon officials launched a district-level bike outreach program on August 24. The initiative aims to push HIV and STI services into the region's most isolated corners. Leaders held the event at the CMO Office Complex. They want better health access.
ADC Pakon Phom joined DVBO Dr. Cheyale Kath for the debut. This bike worker joins the Targeted Intervention team at JACAOA in Tobu. The new asset will bridge the gap for residents struggling to reach standard clinics. It is a long way to go.
The ADC credited the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society for focusing on Mon. He urged the DISHA Unit to get moving. "The initiative is intended to improve access to essential services for communities that may face difficulties reaching conventional health facilities," officials stated. The team will now provide testing, counseling, and basic medical care on two wheels.
