Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh opened the region's first AI-Enabled Career Intelligence Hub on November 7. Located at Tamphasana Girls Higher Secondary School in Imphal, the facility uses artificial intelligence to offer career counseling and job market data. The project received funding through the Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme.

Singh praised the local students for their restraint during the state's recent seven to eight months of unrest. He urged them to avoid protest when tensions flare. "Peaceful engagement was essential to achieving lasting peace in Manipur," Singh said. He reminded the youth that honesty and humanity remain the bedrock of a stable society.

During the same visit, the Chief Minister kicked off the 32nd National Children's Science Congress for 2026-27. This event centers on the theme of understanding ecosystems for health and well-being. It draws 39 student leaders from 12 districts across the state. The Manipur Upliftment Centre and Samagra Shiksha organized the science event.

The ceremony included Rajya Sabha MP Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi and Director of Education Ng. Bhogendra Meitei. Dr. Vinita Devi Elangbam, Dr. Yumnam Jayanta Singh of NIELIT, and Anjali Chongtham of Samagra Shiksha also attended. Singh toured the student projects and pushed the kids to keep chasing innovation.
