Chakhesang Hoho Kohima Opens New Emergency Utility Center

Kohima: Chakhesang Hoho Kohima opened an emergency public utility facility on July 21. It sits near the Naga Hospital in Kohima. Rev Vevo Phesao, Senior Pastor of Chakhesang Baptist Church Minister Hill, dedicated the site. The space serves bereaved families and residents facing urgent situations.

Former minister Zachilhü Vadeo praised the group for this public service. He urged the local Chakhesang community to maintain their bond. "Everything is possible when there is unity and peace," he said. The ceremony saw attendance from notable figures including former minister Z Lohe, former CPO president Kekhwengulo Lea, and former CHK president Theja Therie.

CHK President Dozhohü Tunyi opened the event. General Secretary and Building Committee Convenor Mütsivoyi Kotso explained the reason for the building. Officials are now taking requests from those who need to use the space. The organization also intends to add a home stay facility to the site later. Joint Secretary Chipakhuyi Rhakho thanked everyone for backing the construction work. Lhüvesayi Lohe chaired the event, and Rev Dr Kevekhalo Lasuh closed the program with a benediction.
