NCSU Calls Meeting Over Decade-Old Road Project Payments

Kohima: The Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (NCSU) summoned all joint venture shareholders for the 4-lane Patkai to Medziphema road project. The meeting takes place October 13 at 12 noon. Attendees will gather at the NCSU Conference Hall in Kohima.

This project spans 15.385 kilometers. The union vice president issued a circular mandating the meeting to resolve disputes over outstanding payments. These bills have sat unpaid for more than 10 years. The union hopes to force a resolution after a decade of silence.

Officials demanded full attendance from all stakeholders. They want a collective push to settle these debts. The circular stated: "All JV shareholders have therefore been requested to attend the meeting without fail and extend cooperation for meaningful discussion and resolution." Everyone must show up to settle these books.
