Agartala: Border Security Force agents caught a 41-year-old Cameroon national crossing into India. Peters Molla breached the barbed-wire fence near the Ballamukha border in Tripura. He bypassed the perimeter near the Ishan Chandranagar Gram Panchayat area. Troops from the 43 Battalion spotted him during a routine patrol. They took him to the 43 Battalion Border Outpost for immediate questioning.
Authorities transferred Molla to the Belonia Police Station after processing his paperwork. A local court granted three days of police remand for the suspect. Investigators need to know how he arrived and who helped him move across the border. Police are currently looking into the motive behind his entry. Officers are probing for connections to human trafficking or wider migration networks. Officials stated, "Police are now trying to determine the purpose of his visit, the route he used to enter the country, and whether he was assisted by any individuals or networks operating across the border."
