5th NAP Phek Sets Live Fire Exercises for Late October

Kohima: The 5th Nagaland Armed Police Battalion and the District Executive Force in Phek are holding live firing practice. Drills run from October 30 through November 7 at the 5th NAP Battalion Firing Range. Every session starts at 7:00 am sharp.

The Commandant of the 5th NAP Battalion issued a new circular on October 26 to confirm the schedule. This notice replaces an earlier order from October 21. Authorities warned the public and nearby villagers to stay away from the range to prevent accidents. Officials emphasized the need for caution, stating that residents should "stay away from the firing range during the practice days as a safety precaution."
