Phek Bids Farewell to Outgoing SP Dr. Pritpal Kaur

Kohima: Phek district officials and residents gathered on August 18 to bid farewell to outgoing Superintendent of Police Dr. Pritpal Kaur Batra. The event also marked the departure of Phek SDPO Khuza Jurry and PR Phek Officer-in-Charge Inspector Avika K Labo. Dr. Kaur thanked district leaders, police staff, and the local public for their support during her time in office. She told attendees to stay united, pushing them to continue serving the community with integrity and love.

The Chakhesang community honored Dr. Kaur with the name Mutukhrülü, which translates to someone who both loves and is loved by all. Her daughter received the name Mululü as part of the gesture. Nagaland Minister K G Kenye lauded her performance in a written message. He stated, "As the Superintendent of Police, she carried out her responsibilities with discipline, determination and integrity."

Advisor for Science and Technology Kuzholuzo Nienu highlighted her sharp leadership and ability to transform the district police force. He credited her for building professional pride across the department. Numerous officials offered tributes, including DIG Vekhosa, Deputy Commissioner Rhosietho Nguori, and heads of the Chakhesang Public Organization, Mothers Association, Youth Front, and Students Union. Various community groups, including farmers, students, and self-help organizations, also attended to share their appreciation.
