Kohima: Asangla Imti, Commissioner and Secretary of School Education and SCERT, demanded error-free electoral rolls in Zunheboto. She serves as the Special Intensive Revision observer. Imti met with election staff and political leaders on October 27 at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall. The room held Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, and representatives from recognized parties.

Imti wants clean lists. She pushed for constant cooperation between parties and Booth Level Officers to spot and fix mistakes. She warned against pointing fingers. She told the room that "an accurate electoral roll formed the foundation of free and fair elections" and requested active participation from everyone involved. Success relies on transparency and shared work.

The observer pushed officers to solve problems instead of viewing the revision as a heavy burden. She asked Assistant Electoral Registration Officers to offer better support to their counterparts across the district. She demands a proactive mindset to handle any hurdles that pop up during the process.

Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Dharam Raj opened the session. He backed the need for tight coordination between his staff and political groups. The meeting ended on a note of accountability, aiming to bolster the credibility of the entire district voting system.
