Phek district opens electoral rolls for public review

Kohima: Phek district officials finished drafting the electoral rolls for the 16-Pfutsero, 17-Chizami, 18-Chozuba, and 19-Phek Assembly constituencies. These documents now sit ready for public inspection. They follow the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.

Citizens can review the rolls during standard office hours. Copies are currently held at the offices of Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, and Booth Level Officers. The clock is ticking. You must file any claims for name inclusion or objections to specific entries by October 20.

Submit your paperwork using Form 6, Form 7, or Form 8. You can drop these forms off at the offices of the respective EROs, AEROs, or BLOs. Alternatively, mail them directly to the proper official. The Phek DC issued an official notification stating, "Claims and objections are to be submitted in Form 6, Form 7 or Form 8, as applicable." Everything must reach the appropriate office before the October 20 deadline.
