Kohima: The Phek District Election Office starts a special camp on August 25 to support the ongoing Special Intensive Revision. The initiative covers all assembly constituencies across the district. It aims to help voters navigate enumeration forms, verify electoral details, and submit required documents. Staff will also provide technical support to Booth Level Officers and Booth Level Agents. This includes training on the BLO App, digitizing forms, and resolving mapping issues.
The camp kicks off in Zuketsa Circle, serving both Zuketsa and Khezhakeno. Officials will visit the Zuketsa EAC Office and Sakraba EAC Office along with the SDO (C) Office in Chizami on August 26. The team moves to the ADC Office in Pfutsero on August 27. They finish at the EAC Office in Chetheba and ADC Office in Chozuba on August 28. Electoral Registration Officers or Assistant Electoral Registration Officers will supervise the daily proceedings.
Rhosietho Nguori, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Phek, ordered all Booth Level Supervisors and officers to attend. Village council leaders and administrative staff must spread the word. The mission is clear. "All Area Administrative Officers and Village Council Leaders have been requested to disseminate this information widely among the public so that no eligible elector is left without assistance during the ongoing SIR exercise."
