Phek Election Officials Run Voter Assistance Drive in Chetheba

Kohima: Phek District Election Office staff gathered at the Chetheba Town Hall on August 28 for an Assistance to Voters camp. The event focused on the Special Intensive Revision 2026. Officials operated under the theme, "Together for a stronger democracy."

Extra Assistant Commissioner Nengpichong Singsit opened the session. She explained why the camp mattered for local participation. Assistant Election Officer Phachulo Kath took the floor as the primary resource person. He pushed for total voter registration. He warned, "no genuine voter should be left out during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision."

Kath praised the previous performance of Booth Level Officers in Chozuba. Local residents, election officials, Booth Level Officers, and Booth Level Agents attended the session. The team worked to sync election procedures and boost turnout across the region.
