Agartala: The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) scheduled oath-taking ceremonies for newly elected Village Committee members. The events run from November 11 to 13 and continue on November 16, 2026. This follows the Village Committee General Election-2026.

Headquarters in Khumulwng issued the directive on November 2. The Office of the Chief Executive Officer ordered Zonal Development Officers (ZDOs) to prepare for the swearing-in. These officers will set the specific times for each ceremony. Venues will sit within the borders of the respective Sub-Zones.

Village Secretaries must notify all winners. They need to ensure everyone shows up on time. "Newly elected members must carry their Election Certificates in Form No. 24, issued by the respective Returning Officers (BDOs), and produce them before the authorised officers administering the oath."

Designated authorities will administer the oaths. The council provided text in Kokborok, English, and Bengali for the ceremonies. Officials must file signed, authenticated copies of the oath documents at the Village Committee level and the TTAADC headquarters. All formalities must wrap up by the final deadline.
