Tripura Speaker Launches New Nursery Section in Udaipur

Agartala: Tripura Legislative Assembly Speaker Rampada Jamatia opened the new nursery section at Ramesh Higher Secondary School in Udaipur this Saturday. He cut the ribbon, marking a fresh push for the state’s education system. The government has prioritized schooling improvements since 2018. Officials aim to boost quality through English medium schools, PM Shri programs, and plans for more colleges.

The nursery section focuses on play-based learning and mental growth. It builds a solid base for young students. Jamatia said the initiative is part of a plan to ensure children receive modern, high-quality learning opportunities. The school grounds featured bright decorations and new materials for early education.

Gomati Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Debal Debroy and MLA Jitendra Majumdar attended the event. Other guests included Udaipur Municipal Council Chairperson Sheetal Chandra Majumdar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Tridip Sarkar, and headmasters Pradip Chakraborty and Sanjib Dutta. Teachers and local parents also joined the crowd.

The 1990-92 batch of Ramesh Alumni sponsored the construction of the new section. Their work earned praise from those in attendance. During the event, speakers noted that this project stands as a "commendable example of alumni responsibility and dedication to the school’s progress."
