Agartala: Dinesh Chandra Saha died early Wednesday morning. He suffered a cardiac arrest in his sleep. He was the husband of Kalyani Roy Saha, the Teliamura MLA and Chief Whip of the Tripura Legislative Assembly.
Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha visited the grieving family to offer support. He took to social media to share his sympathy. He wrote, "May God grant them strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss."
State ministers echoed this grief. SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das expressed his pain over the loss. Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury also shared his shock while praying for the family. Members of the political community across the state joined them in mourning the death.
