Itanagar: Tawang Police hit the streets for an intensive night patrol across the township in Arunachal Pradesh. Officers scouted local bars and hotels during late-night and early-morning hours to maintain order. Every street counts. Deputy Superintendent of Police Togum Gonggo led a team from the Tawang Police Station through the darkness to verify compliance with administrative rules.
The force focused on shutting down businesses on time and keeping minors out of drinking establishments. The sweep spanned Dekangteng, Shyo Mandrelling, Leychemeyrong, AIR Colony, the Buddha Statue area, Nehru Market, the Old Market, the New Market, and the District Hospital. The operation aims to shore up public safety throughout the region.
