Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee Joins Har Ghar Tiranga Rally in Delhi

Agartala: Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee marched in the Har Ghar Tiranga rally on Wednesday at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan attended the event. The rally honors Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to display the national flag in every home across the country.

Bhattacharjee earlier raised the flag at his official residence. He stood at attention with full respect. The MP stated the flag represents knowledge, life, and love. He pushed for citizens to keep the spirit of nationalism alive everywhere. He noted, "Through the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, let us carry the message of patriotism and the glory of the tricolour to every household."

The event featured vivid displays of national unity. Bhattacharjee highlighted Tripura’s firm commitment to the campaign during the festivities. He reminded observers that the flag stands for India's dignity and sovereignty. The rally ensured the tricolour remains a focal point of national pride.

Back home in Agartala, the West Tripura District Police took the campaign to the streets with a bike rally on Wednesday. Officers and personnel rode through the city to push the message of unity and service. Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak flagged off the event, joined by the Additional SP for Rural West, various SDPOs, and local station house officers.

Police brass framed the ride as a mix of civic duty and law enforcement. A senior officer noted, "The Har Ghar Tiranga programme is meant to instil pride and a sense of belonging among citizens. Through this rally, we want to remind people that the flag is a symbol of India's unity, dignity and sovereignty."
