NSCN/GPRN-R Expels Major Over Unlawful Activities

Kohima: The NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato) kicked Major Chomangli Mongzar out of its ranks. The firing follows persistent unlawful activities that violated the group’s core principles. Mongzar, also known as Aliba, racked up multiple warnings before his dismissal.

Maj Gen Howoto Yeptho, the Commander-in-Chief of the Naga Army, signed the termination order today. The order mandates an immediate end to Mongzar’s service. Records list the former officer as NA No. 30230, the son of Hopongse from Sangsomong village.

The group’s Ministry of Information and Publicity issued the decree. It strictly forbids Mongzar from interfering in any future organizational affairs. Officials sent a blunt message to the public regarding his status: "not to entertain him," because he is "no longer associated with us anymore."
