Kohima: Niuland hosted the District-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2027 on November 6. MY Bharat-Niuland and Platinum College organized the event under the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue banner. The day centered on the theme One Nation, One Election.
Limugha G Achumi took first place. Vipeni Zhimo and Alopeni followed in second and third. Abigail Yimchunger, Jejang L, and Holunla earned top honors in the Encouragement Category.
Sub-Divisional Officer Rorheu Peseyie spoke at the event. He told the crowd that the Viksit Bharat@2047 vision acts as a national target to make India a developed country by the centenary of its independence. He stated, "The vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 is both an idea and a national target, aimed at transforming India into a developed nation by the centenary of its independence."
Manikanta, the District Youth Officer for MY Bharat-Niuland, pushed students to build leadership skills. He wants youth to take responsibility for nation-building. The program trains students in parliamentary practices and democratic processes. It prepares them to lead the country toward the 2047 goal.
